I went with Meredith tonight to the HOT Fair and judges choc. chip cookies. After about 3 bites of different cookies I no longer wanted any more. Unfortunately we had 24 cookies to taste! I just took very tiny bites of them but am still so sick of them!! We are supposed to go back Tuesday Night and judge chocolate….Not sure how I will get through that one. lol I am not as big on sweet stuff like that as I used to be. Hopefully we won’t have to taste 24 different kinds though.
Tomorrow we have speech at 8:30 (hate getting up early for that) sighhh…then at 10:30 Kyle has a haircut. He needs one really bad so I am glad I was able to get him in.
I started something new with Delana today in school. I did a regular lesson in her phonics keeping up with where we are in her book but then went to the middle of the book and did another lesson. I think she enjoyed it a bit more cause it was a bit closer to her level. She didn’t have any problems with it but it was just harder than the normal. We will see how far she can go from the middle without getting stumped. I am going to try to go to Mardels and look into getting her some more challenging things as well. I know she still has tons to learn in Kindergarten but her school books are not cutting it right now so we will look at some other cheap stuff to go with her school. I know she will prob not keep up with being ahead so am just enjoying it now while it isn’t hard for her. I know when the day comes she is challenged there will be tons of complaining. LOL
