This week has flown by!

I can’t believe this week has went by so fast. It is co-op again today. The kids are all excited and ready to go. We aren’t going to do school today since we have to go to the library, speech, then co-op.  We did several lessons on friday though so we are well ahead and where I thought we would be at this time.

The field day was a blast!  Alot of work but tons of fun. I had my good sewing scissors in a bag with fabric used for 3 legged race strips and I think the bag got threw away. I forgot the scissors where in there. They were not the best of scissors but all I had to cut fabric. I will be going scissor shopping soon and am going to make sure I get some that are alot better than the ones I had.

Yesterday I was down with a migraine all day. Tons of fun. It is gone today so hopefully they will stay away for the weekend.  Curtis and the kids took their bikes/skateboard and stayed after church last night and ate then played. They had alot of fun. Curtis came home really tired and ready for bed.

Meredith just informed me that SHE will be doing planning for parties and such and I am a helper! LOL I didn’t mean I was going to do it all just meant I was excited to be involved. I have had so many ideas and so cool stuff for gifts and parties that I was looking forward to Jacey’s turn. lol Anyway this post I guess is for Meredith. hehe

News I just heard

Jacey just called and said her and Philip were engaged!  Even though I was waiting for it to happen anytime I was still surprised (don’t ask me why lol). I am excited but it is a bit weird to think about my brother getting married. I was waiting for her to ask me to do the cake but instead she asked me to be a bridesmaid. I am excited to get to be in the wedding. Delana is supposed to be the flower girl and Kyle is supposed to walk down the isle as well.   Now I have alot of planning for a shower and things to do.

Another busy day for us

Today was super busy. I think my Mondays will be like that for awhile. We did school, then rushed to Waco to get Kyle to speech at 11:15 while he was there Delana and I grabbed something to eat after we picked him up and ate on the way to co-op. Co-op was at 12:30 so we went all the way from Waco to Belton and was only a few minutes late. lol After co-op I had to make a run to walmart and grab some things to take to my grandma’s for supper tonight. We then came home and got ready and went to Grandma Traylers. We had alot of fun.

Ryan and Colton were playing tonight at Grandma’s and Ryan fell out of the basket on the big tricycle and hurt his head. Scared me to death since all I could hear Emily saying was Hurry Hurry. Didn’t hear who she was saying then finally realized she was saying Mama Nes Hurry Hurry. (Some of the nieces and nephews call mom Mama Nes) Anyway Zane brought Ryan in the house bleeding alot. Mom cleaned him up and after he was cleaning up it wasn’t a bad cut. Just a couple little places and some knots. I talked to mom a little bit ago and she said he was feeling better she thought. (after he got hurt he wanted to go home so Mer drove him and mom home and then came back)

I learned alot Sunday. Mackie was talking about it being unfriendly to not shake hands with people and just say hi. I relized that is something I don’t do most of the time. I never even think about it. When I walk in church and others are standing there most of the time I just walk to my sit. I never really thought about it. Not sure why I haven’t just haven’t. Anyway I hope that is something I can do better on. I know it is something I need to work on as well as many other things.

We had a good day at co-op. In Fun cooking Delana make balls of energy. She came home from Grandma’s a little bit ago and wanted one and did NOT like it. lol She doesn’t like banana’s and I guess after sitting for awhile the banana taste was stronger than when she first made them. lol In Sheryl’s class that I help in first period she taught the girls to make bows. So I got to learn that as well. I think next week they are doing hair bows. It is fun in her class since I am learning right along with the girls. I had to substitute in Kyle’s class last period and of course he was thrilled about that.  I am looking forward to next weeks co-op.

Up Early this morning

Kyle starts speech again today. The only thing on friday she had really was 8:30am. I know it isn’t that early but when you have to get up and shower, wash hair, and then get kids up and dressed, fed, and everything else it is early. lol I hate getting up early. So every friday he goes at 8:30 and also on tuesdays at 10:15. Then we have co-op on mondays so now |I have to be in town 3 days a week. UGGHHH…Going to be hard with school but we will manage it. I am thinking about changing his tuesday to monday before co-op. Only thing is speech is in Waco and co-op is in Belton. But at least I wouldn’t have to get out 3 days a week and only 2 even though one day would be alot of driving it would be worth it I think.

We went to the church last night about 6:30 and met Jesse and Suzanne there. We took the kids bikes and all ate supper. It was alot of fun and the kids had a blast. Curtis and Jesse rode ripstiks. We left about 8:30 (just at volleyball was getting started) so we could come home and go to bed early. Curtis has been getting up 3-4am and I knew he needed to get some extra sleep. It was nice since we were all in bed by 9:30, something that never happens here.

Today

Went Great. Kyle cried in his class at co-op he hated it. He did this last week the whole time until they finally told me what was going on and I went to his class and then he was ok while I stayed there.  Anyway  I asked if we could move him to Lorien’s 2 year class since he had already said he “felt” like going to Lorien’s class that morning lol and I knew he would like it better with someone he knew in there.  Thankfully they approved it and moved him there and he was totally fine. Saw Lorien and gave me a kiss and a hug and he was off to play. So instead of his 3 year olds class he will be in the 2 year olds. He could care less as long as he has Lorien.

Delana came home talking about the table manners she learned in her manners class. She was telling me a poem or rhyme that she learned as well about not whispering in front of others. It was really cute. I help Deanna in her class 2nd period and Sheryl 1st period. It was alot of fun.  Anyway that was my day after we did school this morning. 

Co-op Day!

Today is the 2nd day of Co-op. Delana is so excited and I am working on Buddy. He isn’t totally against it but after last week I have really been talking it up about how much fun he is going to have and such. I think I am just as excited about Co-op as Delana is.  I am Sheryl’s helper in 1st period and Deanna’s helper is 2nd period. I enjoy getting to help in classes and not having to do 3 hours in the nursery. (I think alot of new moms they put them in the nursery for the first semester for all 3 hours).

So many noises when you are alone…

Curtis took then kids to his parents for the day this morning. I didn’t feel like riding so many hours in one day and plus he was hanging out with Justin and his parents and then kids are busy with his parents so that leaves me with nothing to do but sit around. I chose to stay home and relax instead.   Anyway it is late now and they should be here any minute but I keep hearing all these weird noises. I turned on my fan, ac, and dishwasher to help the noises but I still hear creaks and such.  I know it is just because it is late and I am hear alone but I still don’t like the noises. lol

Guess she is learning something

Last night Delana was doing her Jumpstart World on the computer. They have the games by grades and it is a game/learning. It has helped her so much. Well last night I come in here and she is doing words no big deal!  Before when she was doing the words on there she would have some trouble and I would have to help her. Now she is popping them off with no help. She has started reading some as well. Her school isn’t into reading yet but she just picked up a book and starting sounding out words and reading the short readers. Maybe I am not such a horrible teacher after all.
