The co-op meeting went great today. Learned alot of how things will work and the kids were disappointed to have to leave before they did any classes.
Unfinished school room pics
Here are a few pics of our school room. Ignore the mess in the lofts and the piles of stuff. we are still working on it but at least we can do school in here.
We still have to do the baseboards, windows, and trim but it may be awhile before we do that. We also got a countertop for a art desk and still have to put that up and get the stools for that.
Cake contest
The bakery where Meredith work decided to have a cake contest and wanted me to join. We all have partners and my partner is one of the owners of the bakery. We meet last night about 8 at the bakery and worked until 11. We got alot done though and our cake is awesome! (bragging a bit just for Mere’s sake. haha….) Anyway we didn’t get to do some of the stuff we were going to last night because someone (Mere and Jacey) took tons of the bakery supplies home with them to work on there cake. I guess we will see on Sunday what there cake looks like. I think they are going to put all the cakes on their website and have people vote on them. If that is the case I will post the link here and everyone can vote. We won’t tell whose is whose though (I don’t think we are at least).
Kyle is alot better today. Still his eyes look like he feels bad but at least he acts better and better everyday.
Not alot going on here
We just finished school for the day a little bit ago. Kyle was playing outside so I told Delana we would do Bible later when he came in. I think today was the best school day so far. I hope that it keeps getting better. Our schoolroom is still done finished but hopefully will be ready for school next monday. It will be tons easier doing school in the schoolroom I think because then I don’t have to spread everything out.
I used Suzanne recipe and made her bread yesterday! It turned out ok. Not as good as hers for sure. It was a bit heavy but still good. I didn’t have dough enhancer or the kind of oil she used for hers but I used regular oil and no enhancer and it turned out ok.
Kyle is about the same as yesterday. Still not feeling well but has more energy. He still lays around and wants me to hold him alot but also gets up and plays as well. Hopefully he will be fully back to his normal self by the weekend. I hope sooner but don’t want to get my hopes up.
I got the felt bible set that Suzanne was talking about in her blog. The kids love it. It was tons of pieces to cut out. My mother in law was here a couple weeks ago and Delana, she, and I sat and cut pieces for a long time. The next night my parents and Megan came over and Megan, Anna, Meredith, mom, and I cut out. Meredith said she would take the rest home and her and Anna would cut them. That was really nice! After seeing Suzannes organizer for them the other night I ordered one. It is on the fed ex truck now and should be delivered today. I can’t wait to have it! It takes a long time to prepare for bible everyday having to go though all the pieces since they are not in order. I am thinking when I get the organizer it won’t take but a few min to go to the right page and grab what I need.
My brave little boy yesterday
I took this with my phone and am putting it here. Not sure of the quality yet since I have never done that before. Anyway here is Kyle yesterday at the docs office. They put a board on his arm so he wouldn’t move and he and I sat on the table there and read books most of the time.

To those that are wondering Kyle is doing much better today. He is still not feeling well but acts better and is eating a little bit more. Not alot but a little and that is great! Hopefully in the next couple days or so he will be back to normal.
First day of school!
Today was our first day of school. It went great and her first lessons took all of about 30 – 45 min. We didn’t do Bible since we had to leave to take Kyle to the doctor but I plan to do that when Kyle wakes up from him nap since I know he will enjoy doing it with Delana. I was glad the first day was so easy since we had to go to the doctor. Delana told me later school was fun. Kyle kept saying are you teacher or mommy? LOL
Just got home from the doctor with Kyle
Even though he was taking in a little bit more fluids and acting a bit better they said he was still dehydrated. They gave him a IV for fluids right there in the peds office (so glad they didn’t make me go to the ER for that) The nurses all said how much better he looked after he got the fluids in him. He had more color and Curtis brought him a grilled cheese to eat and he eat over half of it!!! That is way way more than he has had since wend. I was so excited that he ate that much. He had about half a bag of fluids in him at that time so that must have really perked him up. Anyway the doctor said that the fluids should hold him for 6-8 hours so that if he still won’t eat or drink at least it won’t be that big of a deal, but with him eating so much at lunch I think maybe he is on the mend now.
Home Early
We went ahead and went to Sea World thinking Kyle would probably be better friday morning. He wasn’t. Curtis felt really bad too so they both stayed at the motel and Delana and I went to Sea World. By the time we got back from Sea World Kyle was worse and just stayed that way so we got up early this morning and came home. I called his doctor and they said there was nothing they could do but send him to the ER if we brought him in because they knew he was dehydrated. he has not ate anything and kept it down but a few goldfish since Thursday. We have been giving him Gatorade but he throws that up too. So we are home and I am just trying to get him to drink stuff so I don’t have to take him in so he can get fluids. All this time too he has been running a fever. I didn’t have my thermometer with me so I don’t know what it was but he felt so hot. Both nights we were gone he didn’t sleep well and one night he was on the floor crawling around talking to himself. He laid in bed and talked alot of the night last night. Anyway keep him in your prayers that he will start to feeling better. I feel like such a bad mommy taking him on our trip when he was sick but I honestly thought he would be fine the next day and ready for Sea World. On a good note Delana and I had fun at Sea World. She got to ride some of the rides as well and liked that.
Grape Juice Stain?
Kyle just had a big sippy cup with grape juice and he threw it up all over the place literally. My living room carpet, kitchen floor, walls, and cabinets. Plus both me and him. lol Anyway anyone know how to get the stains out of my carpet? I have gotten them lighter by using stain remover and shampooing the spots but they are still there. Help!
Sick boy :(
Kyle and Delana both had upset tummy’s for a couple of days. I thought they were better yesterday, but this afternoon Kyle’s tummy is upset again and now he has fever. He seems to get sick alot. I feel bad for him but hope it is something he will outgrow as he gets older. I think he will since he doesn’t get sick as often as he used to. Anyway we are leaving for our sea world trip tomorrow and I have no idea what I will do if he is still sick. I don’t want to take him sick. He will have a fit because he is so excited. We have the tickets bought and our motel paid as well for 2 nights. I guess we will see what tomorrow brings. 
Curtis came home a little while ago and he is sick too! Hmm Delana and I may have to go to Sea World by ourselves. lol
Grandpa Trayler came yesterday and worked on mudding and taping the school room. He is really fast at it and got prob a little over 1/3 of the celing done in 2 hours. He is supposed to come back next week and work more and I don’t think it will take him long then we can get it painted. We will just being doing school at the kitchen table for a week or so. I am fine with that since I don’t want to move all my school stuff out there and have to move it around to finished it up.
