We got our school room!!

They brought it yesterday!  I think Curtis is going to start doing the insulation tonight.  I hope it won’t take long but we will see.

The kids only have 1 more day of Mothers Day out.  Delana is really sad about it. Kyle loves it but dosen’t say alot about it. They have learned so much there and had a blast. I will be sad for it to end. It give me 4-5 hours 1 day a week to get groceries and do my other errands for the week. I was keeping Kyle in there after Delana started school but decided not to so I wouldn’t have to come to town on a certain day every week after school started.

Spelling

Someone brought to my attention that I have alot of misspelled words on my blog. (Thanks Megan…LOL)  I am not the world’s best speller and couldn’t figure out how to use the spell check here but I think I have now got it figured out. So if you see any misspelled words or typos I was prob in a hurry.

Getting ready

Yesterday the kids and I went to Aunt Deanna’s and made lots of cookies and icing for the cookie party today.  It was fun getting to do it with someone else instead of having to do it all by myself. The kids of course had a blast. Kyle saw Colton jumping a ramp with his bike and so he thought he had to do it too. It was very cute! He is such a dare devil. If he sees someone do something daring he thinks he has to do it too. He will do it over and over. lol  When we went to the lake for a week last month he saw Meredith and Justin jump off a 20 foot (or so) cliff and guess what he had to do it too. I was terrified for him but he didn’t hesitate just jumped right off.  When his head came above water again he said yea do again!  He did it 3 or 4 times I think.

I am looking for school stuff for the kids. If anyone sees any cheap stuff let me know!  We are supposed to get our room in tomorrow. I think Curtis’s parents are coming this weekend and his dad is planning to help him insulate and sheet rock. I think Curtis is planning to go and get all of the sheet rock and stuff we need tonight that way when he gets home thursday he can start working on it rather than having to go get all the stuff first.

This was from a 3 weeks ago or so. Curtis and I had a really old mattress and he finally said I am going to get a new mattress!  Anyway the day we got it Philip, Jacey, and Mer were over and Mer and Jacey thought they had to try my new mattress out. The kids thought they had to as well.

Nope I didn’t teach her to do this. Her Aunt Meredith did! she was doing all kinds of funny poses for Suzanne without anyone saying anything. lol

And of course we have to show some of Buddy. He wasn’t that excited about getting this pictures took. lol

I will stop with those. lol I need to learn to make the pictures bigger as well as align them right but for now it will do.

Can’t sleep…

I have been awake since before 4am. I can’t go back to sleep. Everything with school keeps running though my mind. I got up thinking I would write some ideas down in my lesson book and I can’t find it!  I just bought it too. I have no idea where I put it. I am just really stressing but also excited at the same time about school.

I am also making some new recipes to take to moms for lunch today and wondering if they will turn out well or not. I made a peanut butter cheesecake with a new recipe last night for today and am looking forward to trying that (I know I don’t need it LOL).  The other new recipe I am making is crock pot Chicken Pot Pie.  I got up at 4 worrying that it might be sticking but it looked like all the liquid is still in there. I needed it moist but not all the liquid still there. It still has to cook for a few more hours though so I think I am all good there. If not I will drain some of it off.

Check out Meredith’s blog for pics of the wedding we catered last weekend. It was so much fun. It took wend. through sat. afternoon to get everything ready. Then we had to deliver all of the stuff. It was prob about 1500 to 1800 desserts plus the 3 tiered cake. We got the cake there and the ladies there started putting flowers on it (that was the plan) and they messed up the cake! After working so hard on it (it was cream cheese icing and alot harder to work with and not as pretty anyway) I wasn’t a happy person. lol  We started arrived about 5:45 and set up then started serving about 8:30pm and were in our high heels (only while serving). Talk about being crippled after that! LOL  We left a little after 11pm and got home close to 1am. It was worth it though and so much fun!  Anyway Meredith’s blog is Baker Girl on the go.  Since she didn’t put any info except just the pictures.

Schoolroom!

We are getting a nice big storage shed and Curtis is planning to insulate it and sheet rock and it make it a room that will be our school room! i am so excited! Delana already has plans for the walls. LOL she wants a rainbow and she wants to paint with her washable paints stuff on there! LOL  It isn’t just huge but perfect for us to use for school and there is a small loft for storage. We bought it from the Mennonite people in Lott. They were so nice and we got a awesome deal. Better than we could have done ourselves (if building a patio is any thing like it) and a better deal than anything we have found around here.   it will be wend. before it is delivered.

Need to clean (dosen’t that sound familar? lol)

My house needs to be cleaned so bad. I haven’t felt good since sunday so everything is just a mess here. I did manage to clean the bathrooms yesterday and dust on monday but that is far as I have got. Since I am a neat freak about my house it is driving me crazy! Oh, well soon….

 Took the kids to the dentist this am and no cavities!  When we went in Jan. this year Kyle had 4 (yes 4!) and Delana had 1.  So I was very thankful to not have any this time. After having so many in Jan we kicked up the teeth cleaning a notch and make sure they are cleaner and such.

Our cookie decorating party is next tuesday. I am looking forward to it. I know Delana will be excited about it. (she was the one who wanted it and now I think she has forgot about it lol)

My sister in law, Jenny, called me yesterday from the airport. She was on her way to Tx to get the kids. I am going to miss those kids so much. Mostly I will miss Cheyenne. While she has been her she has been my baby. lol She is just a doll!  I have had fun buying her clothes and carrying her in a carrier. Prob the next time I see her she will be to big for all that. She started walking at our house and looks so cute! 

We start school in about 3 1/2 weeks. I am nervous about it and wonder if I made the right choice wanting to homeschool. I guess we will find out soon.

Painting…

I went to Mardels last thursday while they were 20% off all school stuff. I got lots of painting stuff since that is something my kids love.  Here is a picture of them using it yesterday.

 

So I threw my scale away a week ago and went and weighed in at weight watchers last night. I had lost .4!  Not alot but a start!

Going Crazy!

Today has been wild!  I finally got all I could done for today on the huge wedding I am doing tomorrow in Hamilton. I go to the doc for my thyroid blood test and before I go I thought I would get the kids a shake from Jack in the box to keep them quiet while waiting. While the shake machine was out of order so i told them we will go somewhere else. I was behind a 4 door Ford truck waiting to get onto the main road and for some reason he started backing up!  I was wondering what in the world then started backing up too once I realized he didn’t see me. Guess what??  He hit me!!!!   Busted my headlight all to pieces and warped my hood!  The sad thing about that was I just got a whole new front end put on basically about 3 months ago or so!  That was when a lady in Kyle’s speech place backed over my car while it was sitting in the parking lot!  so the guys insurance called a rental in and gave me an appt for next wend to get the car looked at. not sure why I had to have a rental right now but am guessing because the headlight is busted and you can’t drive at night. I am not paying for the rental so whatever they want to do. The rental place gave me this really fancy feeling car that even starts before you get in if you want it to so it will be cool.   So if you see me driving a new car it wasn’t because I got a new one but because someone hit my poor car again and it is a rental! LOL

I will have to miss the lake sat.   Meredith and I are going to Hamilton tomorrow even. until 11 that night to serve at the wedding.  I know everyone will have fun though!
